Paul Regalado – Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT)

To say that Paul knows a little bit about movement is an understatement…Never one to let grass grow under his feet, he received his Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of New Mexico before receiving his Masters of Physical Therapy from the UNM School of Medicine in 2007. He has attended clinical internships in orthopedic care at Carrie Tingley Hospital, the University of New Mexico Hospital, and San Juan Regional Medical Center. He also worked with a local home health care agency for several years after moving to Ruidoso. Paul strongly believes in the practice of evidence-based physical medicine and is trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

When he is not helping other people move, he is moving – you can usually find him on his single speed mountain bike, fly fishing, wing shooting or exploring the Southwest with his family and sleeping outside under the stars…one of his favorite things!

Renée Regalado – Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT)

A native of Lincoln County, Renée first became interested in physical therapy as she watched a loved one try to navigate the healthcare system while seeking rehab services. In particular, seeing her relative have to drive two hours to receive OT/PT/SLP services piqued Renee’s interest in providing services to those in rural locations. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and later received her Masters of Physical Therapy from UNM where she was also recognized as the Outstanding Student of the Year. Her clinical affiliations throughout graduate school included Sun Country Physical Therapy in Roswell, Veteran’s Affairs Hospital, Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital, University of New Mexico Hospital, Carrie Tingley Hospital, La Vida Felicidad and Los Lunas Public Schools.

Renée’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, running, being a mom, and no surprise, being a lifelong learner – this girl will attend an educational conference or learn a new skill any chance she gets!

Kaitlyn Vega - Physical Therapy Assistant

With a degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University, Kaitlyn figured her patients would be the four-legged, furry type. But after growing up around physical therapy, she had a change of heart and knew that PT is her true calling. As a college athlete, she knows a lot about bodies in motion, and she has done clinical rotations at Life Care Center in Farmington, Gallien Therapy in Alamogordo and right here at Therapy Associates!

A Lincoln County native, Kaitlyn lives on a ranch with her husband and their children. They like to hunt (big game and arrowheads), fish, and hike when they aren't helping out around the ranch.
